The Philip
Needham
Set on the historic grounds of the former Baker Estate, 380 Grove Street was conceived around the land itself. The 1.85-acre setting is private, established, and rare, with mature trees defining the perimeter and creating a natural sense of separation. From the outset, the goal was to create a timeless, architecturally significant home that feels appropriate to the legacy of the estate. The design draws from traditional forms, interpreted with restraint and respect for what came before. The grounds were intentionally left expansive, allowing for the future addition of a pool, pool house, or other outdoor amenities without compromising the integrity of the setting. Located minutes from Needham and Wellesley town centers, the home reflects a disciplined approach to building, where setting and construction carry equal weight.
